Because bone and soft tissue malignancies are often located near sensitive organs, patients can benefit from Proton Therapy, which targets the tumors precisely and minimizes damage to the surrounding normal structures.

At Beaumont’s Center for Sarcoma and Connective Tissue Oncology, our team of highly specialized experts focuses on diagnosing and treating bone cancer and soft tissue malignancies. Each patient is cared for by a multidisciplinary team of experts who have specialized in sarcomas and connective tissue cancers. Every case is reviewed at a Multidisciplinary Tumor Board with radiation oncologists, surgical specialties, medical oncologists, pathologists and radiologists.
